Seasonal LEGO sets to gift and display over the holidays.

The days are getting darker, the temperature is much cooler and the leaves are beginning to fall from the trees. You know what's this means, yep - its nearly Christmas!

We have barley crept into October and the shelves are full of anything Christmas. This is no expectation for LEGO either. Christmas Trees, Advent Calendars and even a Gingerbread Darth Vader have already been released. 

Here are my favourite sets that are perfect for anyone gifting for a LEGO fan, decorating your home or  just for getting into the festive spirit.

Advent Calendars

Is it even Christmas if your parents don't get you an advent calendar? (No matter what age you are) Yes we all love a chocolate calendar, but nothing beats waking up to open up door one and there is a fun little mini build or minifigure to consume the mornings entertainment.

Lego have done a great job for catering the most popular themes for boys girls and even adults. We even have the New Disney Frozen Advent Calendar this year succeeding on from a generic Disney one in 2024. 

Up Scaled Santa

A great centrepiece for the coffee table or mantlepiece. This new Up Scaled Santa Minifigure from LEGO really does replicate is smaller form. Santa stand in at over 10 inches tall and even includes are secondary set build for the minifigure to be in a seating position too.

This is reasonably priced in comparison to its other Up Scaled Minifigures counterparts. A very festive piece to show off to friends and family. Just remember not to leave any cookies or mince pies near this Santa

Christmas/Snowman Ornament Selection

The real struggle with the Christmas Tree is decorating it. The amount of times I would see my parents struggle to wrap some tinsel and lights was beyond me. The great thing about decorating tree is you can contribute anything and these LEGO Ornaments are perfect for giving your tree that charming and colourful aesthetic. Pair these ornaments with a warm lighting to really give your tree some character
 
Both priced the same the Snowman ornaments comes in a pack of two while the Christmas ornaments come in a pack of four. The two snowman designs are both unique and are bursting with originality. 

The Christmas ornaments come in four different designs ; a present tree ornament, a Santa tree ornament, a snowman tree ornament and a reindeer tree ornament. Not as bold and exciting as the snowman, but still very cute and more manageable for smaller children. 

Gingerbread AT-AT

LEGO have really put the 'icing on the cake' with this very beautifully decorated Gingerbread AT-AT. Star Wars LEGO has had a disappointing year as far with some overpriced sets and other sets that have just lacked any originality or functionality.  This AT-AT however is pulling its on weight for the theme.

The reals star of the show is the the exclusive Gingerbread Darth Vader minifigure. Complete with a custom cape and intricate torso and leg detailing. Wonky white lines to replicate icing and small dark flecks to further resemble to the texture of gingerbread. Not to mention the candy cane accessory to give this Vader that real festive feel.  

We can see why this is popular already amongst LEGO fans. LEGO tried something different with their Star Wars Seasonal set and its paid of big time for the company.
